Inspired by Our Journey

Chevening Youth Hub is an independent, Chevening alumni-led organization inspired by Chevening Awards values and by the educational and leadership journeys of its team members across Chevening Awards, the University of South Wales, the British Council in Wales, and the wider UK higher education ecosystem.

Inspired by these experiences, we created a community that expands opportunities for young people and advances leadership, education, resilience, civic engagement, and positive social impact in their communities.

WHERE WE WORK

Our Current Regional Reach

We currently focus on supporting young people across seven priority countries: Yemen, Sudan, Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Libya. As the Hub grows, we aim to responsibly expand our reach to other fragile and conflict-affected contexts where young people face barriers to education, opportunity and participation.

Strong Communities

We support youth participation, initiatives and engagement with their communities, helping strengthen social cohesion, resilience and quality of life.
